Very nice example, excellent condition, low round count.

Red ramp front sight, white outline rear, recessed chambers, pinned barrel, target stocks.

I bought this 1978-80.  It has had maybe 250 rds of .38 sp target and a dozen magnum loads.  It has been a safe queen all its life, never carried or stored in a holster.  Typical 70s S&W smooth action.  It is not brand new so one can find a cosmetic imperfection if looking for it but overall, I would call the condition exceptional for a nearly 50 year old revolver.

I arrived at the listed price by searching sites like guns international, collector's firearms etc plus gun values books and recent sales of like model. I am not a Collector so the prices stunned me, but here we are.

I found some for $1,000 but they were well used, scratched and worn. Others described Like New in box for $2,200.

I'm listing for $1700 to see if there is an interest.  There is no box or manual, just the revolver.  Cash only, no shipping.  Pick up in Bella Vista.
